  • 1 1/2 cups fresh corn kernels (3 ears) or 1 1/2 cups frozen corn kernels: Fresh or frozen, corn is the star here.

  • 1 teaspoon chopped fresh thyme or 1/4 teaspoon dried thyme: A hint of herby goodness.

  • 1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper: For a little kick. (optional but delicious)

  • 1/8 teaspoon salt: Season to taste.

  • 1 (14 3/4 ounce) can cream-style corn: Extra creamy corn goodness.
